HR Generalist

We are looking for a (Human Resources) HR Generalist to join our team and implement various human resources programs to support our client’s businesses. HR Generalists have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and employee compensation to evaluation.

You will act as the main point of contact for queries on HR-related topics. Advise client’s on job descriptions, insurance policies, benefits, policies, handbooks, etc.

This position is unique in that we are providing HR services to our client’s businesses in states currently including, Michigan, Georgia, Florida, California, and Nevada. Work is only available as client’s make requests. This position is also a good fit for a contractor that runs their own business.

This position has potential to work from home.

Responsibilities

· Assist our clients with compensation and benefit plans

· Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes if requested

· Ensure employee onboarding and offboarding process is compliant

· Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise

· Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace

· Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies

· Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates

· Maintain electronic employee files and records

· Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly

· Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Skills

· Proven experience as an HR Generalist

· Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures

· Good knowledge of employment/labor laws

· Outstanding knowledge of MS Office

· Excellent communication and people skills

· Aptitude in problem-solving

· Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach

· Additional HR training will be a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.00 /hour
