Job Snapshot: Position serves as a member of the Environmental Services Division. Operates company owned equipment. Conducts environmental investigations, assessments and surveys. Collect samples for analysis of air, water, hazardous materials and building materials. Identifies and recommends compliance objectives for industrial customers. Prepares applicable permit applications, risk assessments, and technical documents including proposals, reports and regulatory agency correspondence. Projects may include groundwater monitoring, asbestos surveys, storm water management, site planning, permitting, visual emissions monitoring, dredge sampling, environmental compliance, T&D, chemical lab packs, and spill response.
Base Salary: $47K - $63K, PTO Program, Retirement Plan, Healthcare Provisions, Paid Holidays
Educational Background: Associates Degree or Higher Education Preferred. Bachelor of Science with emphasis in Biology, Chemistry, Natural Resources, Ag Communication, Plant & Soil Sciences, Geology or Hydrogeology. Hands-On Skills (Power Tools, Pulling Trailers, Securing Loads, Loading & Unloading Equipment). Computer Applications (Word, Power Point, Excel). Military Experience Welcome.
Work Environment: Smoke-Free, Drug Testing & Physical Required, PPE (hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, safety vest and gloves), Out of Town Travel Required for Educational Seminars and Work Assignments. A welcome balance between office work and field work. Operate equipment, trailers, augers, hand-tools, geoprobes, etc. Good work / life balance.
Valid Driver's License with Clear Driving Record
