Instructional Designer, Global Learning & Development (Remote)

The Instructional Designer, Global Learning & Development, will design, develop, and implement innovative programs, curriculums and courseware spanning across topics that could include leadership and manager development at all levels in the organization, high-potential development and luxury retail sales training. This includes conducting needs assessments when needed to identify strategically aligned learning and development initiatives, designing and developing training courseware in a variety of delivery modes (e.g., instructor-led, in-person or virtual training, self-paced training, eLearning, micro learning, videos, infographics, supporting guides, etc.), procuring and managing external vendors, as well as measuring business impact and effectiveness of deployed learning solutions. The role requires thought leadership, strategic thinking, leadership presence, expertise in instructional design and highly effective facilitation skills to engage a diverse global workforce.   • Design innovative curriculums, programs, or learning solutions aligned with strategic priorities, key results, cultural values, and diversity & inclusion.
  • Design impactful instructional material that focuses on skill development and behavior change that will drive business impact.
  • Align learning solutions with course objectives and learner needs.
  • Facilitate discussions that identify customer expectations and help determine the best/right solution to ensure desired outcomes.
  • Ensure the production of quality training courseware for global facilitators and participants of learning programs.
  • Collaborate with others to create prototypes, iterate, and seek feedback from product owners, team members, and stakeholders throughout the design process.
  • Communicate effectively with clarity, credibility, and timeliness.
  • Analyze and select technologies to effectively support engaging delivery for synchronous and asynchronous learning.
  • Measure learning outcomes aligned with business impact; analyze results and communicate to key stakeholders.
  • Embody a growth mindset and demonstrate the ability to inspire others.
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience and proven success designing and implementing learning & development programs; expertise applying adult learning theory.
  • Highly effective facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with ability to execute innovative solutions
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and confident in ability to consult, design, develop, and deliver leadership, manager, high-potential, and luxury retail sales training programs.
  • Experience developing measurement tools and strategies that focus on reaction to learning, knowledge transfer, application on the job, and business impact.
  • Can effectively manage change and shift gears comfortably; highly effective in ambiguous environments and able to produce maximum results with little direction and guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage external and internal resources and a people network to execute quickly, effectively, and consistently in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills; proven research skills to gather data, best practices, and points of view to ensure sound judgment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while balancing quality with on-time delivery.

Preferred Requirements
  • Instructional design certification
  • Luxury retail industry experience
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and program management with ability to execute effectively
