Wednesday 5 August 2020 until Tuesday 3 August 2021

We require Trust Grade Junior Doctors to work in the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital (GRH) and Cheltenham General Hospital (CGH), although post-holders may rotate between both sites. These posts are not recognised for training but will offer the same experience as the Core Surgical Trainees and F2s who share the rota.

These posts provide the opportunity to gain skills in Orthopaedic either at F2 level or at CST level equivalent to gain more experience prior to applying for ST3 entry. You will be given every opportunity to attend theatre/clinic as well as working as part of team looking after elective and trauma patients. There are also audit and research opportunities for you to build a competitive CV.

The on-call rota at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital is a full shift on the on-call rota / Cheltenham General Hospital is full shift with day & twilight shifts.
