Podcast Content Manager

The Podcast Content Manager position exist to supervise and lead the team responsible for creating, recording, and producing multiple podcasts.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Leads a team of podcast producers and editors.Oversees all daily operations for podcasting staff

Uses strong interpersonal communication skills when working with a creative team

Ensures that all digital content meets or exceeds quality standards

Assigns tasks for digital producers/editors, plans, and approves assignments

Provides regular reports to executive producer and other vital stakeholders capturing metrics and impact of the shows

Turns audience data into actionable programming and social strategies across multiple platforms.Collaborates with marketing, programming, and production teams to elevate podcast programming and drive new audiences and revenue opportunities

Develops new shows and builds the budgets required to accomplish them

Communicates across departments and works cross-functionally with other stakeholder teams to procure creative assets, adheres to ministry values, and coordinates with other content teams across the ministry

Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs other duties, including but not limited to duties as assigned, some of which may include the development and creation of a variety of copyrightable works (e.g., printed pieces, voice work, photography, video, music, etc.) for distribution in any and all media and formats (such as television, radio, internet, DVD and digital) on a world-wide basis, all of which will be for the benefit of Focus on the Family

Managerial Breadth/Scope of Job:
Hires, coaches, manages, and nurtures a team of producers and editors who create, record, and edit multiple podcasts

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:
Office environment

Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field

5-7 years of experience managing editorial teams

Strong strategic, conceptual, and creative thinking

Skills, Abilities, and Special Talents/Gifts:
Outstanding writing/editing skills

A personal, well-mannered, humble, and engaging temperament is critical

Solid organizational skills - ability to seek high-quality information quickly, synthesize viewpoints, provide ideas and solutions, and interact effectively with senior leaders.Must be a team player and have a collaborative personality

Salary Range: $70,716 to $81,117 \yr.
