Description

The Manager, Recruiting is responsible for ensuring the hiring process meets legal & regulatory standards; developing & implementing a process that meets customer & organization needs; providing high quality customer service; and leadership/resource management. The organization of data and reporting to influence business decisions is expected.

The Manager, Recruiting is responsible for overseeing & leading Regional recruitment activities for Vertiv Sales & Service. Ensure that Regional practices are aligned with Global Talent Acquisition strategy. Drive HRBP relationships to provide service to the Region as One HR organization.

Responsibilities
  • Plans and directs activities of staff workers concerned with such functions as developing sources of qualified applicants, conducting screening interviews, checking references and background, evaluating applicants' qualifications, and arranging for preliminary indoctrination and training for newly hired employees according to policy.
  • Coordinates employment activities, such as those concerned with preparing job requisitions; interviewing, selecting, and hiring candidates; on-the-job indoctrination and additional training; supervisory follow-up, development, and rating of employees; and conducting exit interviews.
  • Develop an overall Staffing Strategy. Develop and Implements Staffing Plans. Develop and Implements a Talent Selection Process. Develops sourcing mechanisms to increase visibility in the industry. Works with Communications to represent the Employment Brand effectively. Responsible for training current management on Talent Selection Process. Drive recruiting efforts for exempt and non-exempt salaried positions in the U.S. Work with Senior Management on Best Practices as it relates to Industry Standards.
  • Partner on the administration and development of new employee orientation and onboarding programs.
  • Help build New Grad Hiring Programs in concert with intern/co-op programs.
  • Drive EEO/AAP reporting and activities including diversity initiatives
  • Manages Data and Reporting consistent with global standards. Utilizes ATS in accordance with Global standardized processes. Proactively shares analytical insights with HRBP’s and Business partners.
  • Provides input on D&I strategy and delivers on agreed upon metrics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years experience
  • In-depth knowledge of principles/practices of Human Resources administration and specialization in Recruiting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, associate relations practices, recruiting, compensation and benefit programs, training and development, EEO/AAP requirements and principles
  • Understanding of organizational dynamics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong PC skills and experience with electronic applicant tracking systems strongly preferred
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • High degree of integrity
  • Extremely well organized
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, and present analysis, results, and options to senior management in a clear, concise manner
  • Leadership skills
