Content Specialist - Digital Strategy

Marketing is one of the largest teams at SharkNinja. The team includes Digital, Brand, D2C, Media, PR and Creative. Each team focusing on how we give our consumers the ultimate product experience. Marketing is for the person that is not afraid to dive deep and show a genuine interest into the world of Consumer Goods. Joining the Content Strategy team, this individual is responsible for supporting and executing branded content strategies that support both Ninja and Shark.
The Content Specialist will play a critical role in developing and executing content that ladder up to the company’s overall brand goals, drive traffic to brand and retail sites, organic social media, community, and more. The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter with proven skills and experience in digital content programs – from audience insight development and narrative strategies to measurement and optimization.
We need someone who has experience working in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about content trends, and is an innovative thinker, ready to roll up their sleeves and build a world-class content program.
  • Collaborate with partners in brand marketing, creative and digital to deliver content aligned with business priorities and communications strategies
  • Support all branded content creation. Content will take the form of written product content, Q&A articles, pre-recorded branded video content, and more
  • Drive the creation of how-to and testimonial video content, partnering with both internal and external stakeholders to write scripts, identify content creators, film, and edit content
  • Build and manage a robust editorial calendar for all content types for use across all digital teams and properties
  • Build strategic partnerships with identified brand advocates, external content creators, chefs, technology influencers, and more to aid in content creation
  • Analyze data to extract performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities for all owned content
  • Generate creative production and copywriting briefs for all content types
  • Work hand-in-hand with Creative team to manage a library of digital assets
  • Work closely with customer experience, consumer insights, and culinary teams to glean product and culinary insights and use this data to iterate and ideate content strategies for Ninja’s on-domain content hub
  • Identify and drive experiential content opportunities across both brands
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and how all content types (video, blog, organic social, etc.) fit in across email, paid, longform media, and more
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research tools
  • Excellent writing/editing skills, with the ability to write and edit content for a wide range of audiences
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience working with influencers and content creators a plus
  • Experience working with digital agencies a plus
  • BA or BS in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
  • 1-3 ears of experience working in Social Media/PR/Communications/Marketing, preferably in a Content Coordinator/Specialist/Manager, or similar role
