AutoCamp is seeking an Area Group Sales Manager to join our team. As an Area Group Sales Manager for AutoCamp you’ll be responsible for ensuring that Group Revenue goals are achieved or exceeded across AutoCamp Russian River (35 rooms) and AutoCamp Joshua Tree (55 rooms). You’ll also be responsible for planning and servicingall property events and meetings at AutoCamp Russian River. A successful AutoCamp Area Group Sales Manager will “hunt” for profitable group business by soliciting, developing and most importantly closing group business across all segments. This position will be based in Guerneville or the Bay Area with the ability to travel to the property for all site tours and group functions.

. Requirements:



  • Perform targeted outbound solicitation of group business in the Corporate Market to strategically grow overall property revenue and profit.
  • Consistently booking repeat business
  • Aggressively pursuing new accounts/business on a weekly basis.
  • Develop long term business relationships
  • Works with Director of Revenue to understand how to appropriately price group business to maximize revenues
  • Making on-property and field presentations to prospective clients.
  • Establish relationships and network with key 3rd parties to garner a robust volume of qualified lead referrals for group business.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual booking goals.
  • Track and measure all sales activity by tracking all leads from inquiry to final billing.
  • Directly work with customers to prepare and successfully execute on-property meetings and events.
  • Coordinate with vendors and on-property resources to ensure successful event execution.
  • Create a 5-star experience for potential clients during site visits, pre-planning meetings and event execution.
  • Providing personal attention to clients while they are at the hotel to ensure total guest satisfaction
  • Maintains up-to-date awareness of area activities and market trends
  • Promote awareness of our brand internally and externally. By networking with third party referral sources as well as attending appropriate trade shows.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with all Supervisors and Associates, and support team to reach common goals.
  • Represents AutoCamp professionally, including at trade shows, conferences and other events to drive group business.
  • Communicates group expectations and details to on-property sales/catering and operations team to insure a 5-star experience.


  • Working knowledge of Cloud Based Applications; knowledge of Google Suite products preferred.
  • At least 2 year prior hotel group sales manager experience preferably selling seasonal locations.
  • Mutli-property group sales experience is a plus.


  • High school diploma or GED.
